1. Overview

Money Pulse is a personal finance app designed to help users record income, expenses, accounts, categories, budgets, charts, backups and synchronization. Money Pulse is not a bank, financial adviser, tax adviser or investment services provider.

2. Data we may collect

  • Email address, account identifiers and authentication data needed to create and access your account.
  • Basic OAuth profile data such as name, avatar, email address or provider identifier if Google or Facebook provides it and you choose that login method.
  • Financial data you enter in the app, including transactions, income, expenses, accounts, categories, budgets, notes, charts and related personal finance records.
  • User preferences, app settings, language, Free/Premium status and synchronization settings.
  • Synchronization data, cloud backups and information needed to restore or maintain your data across devices.
  • Technical logs, security events, incidents, errors, limited operational metrics and information needed to prevent abuse or improve reliability.
  • Support information that you voluntarily provide when contacting us.

3. How we use data

  • To create, authenticate and protect your account.
  • To store, synchronize, back up, restore and display the data you enter.
  • To provide Free and Premium features, including backups, exports or plan-gated features when available.
  • To send transactional emails, account notices, exports or support replies.
  • To provide customer support and investigate issues.
  • To detect errors, investigate incidents, maintain security, prevent abuse and improve the app.
  • To comply with legal, security, fraud-prevention or accounting obligations when necessary.

4. Providers and external services

We use technical providers to operate Money Pulse. Supabase may be used for authentication, database, synchronization and cloud storage. Resend may be used for transactional emails, exports or support messages. Cloudflare/R2 may be used for downloads, updates, file distribution or infrastructure. Google and Facebook are used only for login if you choose those providers.

We do not sell personal data. We do not sell your personal financial data to advertisers or use it to provide financial, tax or investment advice.

5. Google Sign-In

If you choose Google Sign-In, we may receive basic profile data provided by Google, such as your email address, name, avatar and account identifier. We use this data to authenticate you, create or link your Money Pulse account and keep access secure.

6. Facebook Login

If you choose Facebook Login, we may receive basic profile data provided by Facebook, such as your email address, name, avatar and account identifier. We use this data to authenticate you, create or link your Money Pulse account and keep access secure.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep data while your account is active or while it is needed to provide the service, maintain backups, resolve incidents, comply with legal obligations or protect security.

You can request deletion by following the Data Deletion Instructions. When we process a valid request, we will delete or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days, unless limited information must be kept for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, accounting or dispute resolution.

8. Your rights
